My ECW Pikeman's Lament Project new units p2 05/12/24

Next unit finished. I think of these as perhaps a small town trained-band, made up of local merchants and traders. Having spent many years just meeting for a bit of drill once a month, showing off their fancy blue coats and other kit before retiring to the tavern to discuss business they are now somewhat disconcerted to find themselves forced to take the field!

Wargames Foundry metals, much happier with this basing.

The basing looks great. The Foundry figures are very characterful.

First unit of pikes, plus an extra hero/character. All Warlord plastics. Flag is a generic ECW flag from a sheet made by Solway Crafts, but they don't seem to sell these anymore.

Great set of figures and a lovely theme running through this thread.  I like the basing, both the random numbers of men on each base and the new colours.  It's always nice to see a variation of colour on bases, although I usually get mine by adding a few flowers like this.

A couple of new units, first a Folorn Hope unit, all Warlord figures. Hastily taken pics a bit dark and out of focus I'm afraid.

Some more heroes and characters. From Warbases, Warlord, Foundry and I think the Puritan preacher is Old Glory.
