Acetone is also used as nail polish remover.  You can get it in 1-gallon metal cans at a hardware store, or Wal-Mart.  You can also find it in 16 oz. bottles at Wal-Mart as nail polish remover, in the cosmetics area.

Acetone gives off toxic, flammable fumes.  Use it in a well ventilated area, away from sparks and open flames.  Cheers!
