Bolt Action 3.1
« on: 01 April 2025, 12:57:55 PM »
I thought it was a little soon for an update to their new edition, but after reading up on the details I think Warlord Games has really hit the mark on bringing more narrative depth into Bolt Action.  What do you think...

...helpfully they have posted a free overview of the new changes on their site.

My favourite April Fool’s from a game company was GW, oddly. They had an airbrush that you could load with the colours you need and PRESTO! Instant studio level spray job. It was SO FUNNY. And well done, it almost looked believable. I still remember that.

This is the only April fools, that I have seen all day (if you ignore the actual real-world everyday stuff ;D) I love it, but we actually need those disorder dice, I would buy some  lol

That is fun! Shame the photoshop of the dice is a bit wonky - there is an extra Easter egg if you click through.

Joke or not, this actually feels like a good way of adding random events to a game.

Thats less disorder than you find in the actual military, needs more chaos.

This was a light year, miniature-wise*.  I only saw one other, and while only tangentially related, went a lot deeper than the tactical rock I think...

*The only thing worse than Fantasy Flight Games dropping their annual April 1st product this year, would be putting hours of work into your own post and having people think you were serious.
