Star wars rebellion boardgame (2016) figure scale comparison?

Hi all I am planning on buying a set of mini's from this boardgame:

The game includes 20 odd rebels and 30 stormtrooper figures. They are apparently 21mm tall.

What I would like to know is are they the same size and heft of the micromachine figures or are they bigger?

Can anyone provide a comparison pic?

pretty good comparison shot thanks to a boardgame geek member.  Anyone amassing micromachine figures would do well to pick these guys up
