Looks good.  And I'll second you can use craft paint as your adhesive, especially in 15 mm - but I leave for a good deal longer than two minutes.  If adding larger items, clear Elmer's does it for me unless really heavy then a more substantial glue like wood glue or, if really needed, two-part epoxy.
