Is it very different from BP?

Some things in BP that irritated me are gone.  :)
And the glorious general led the advance
With a glorious swish of his sword and his lance
And a glorious clank of his tin-plated pants. - Dr. Seuss

Maurice is very good. Covers SYW and AWI. Nice mechanisms, using cards to activate and also for bonuses and the like. Plays pretty quickly. Scale agnostic, but assumes 4 bases per unit.

I forgot about Maurice. I played that once, years ago. Thanks!

DBAWI. I like DBN a lot. It is my go to Napoleonic rule set. Alex has released an AWI supplement. That is definately worth a look. As a set of rules DBN is simple and elegant.

I thought AWI wouldn't be as bad as Naps, but there are lots of options too... ;-)

We tried Steve Jones' Bloodybacks (https://paintingshed.blogspot.com/p/bloodybacks-version-91-july-2024.html) last weekend. Just a small trial battle, but we had a good time and it 'tastes like more'.
