The plynths for the  Fu Lions at the entrance to the lamasery. I still need to do some minimal tidying up the masonry but essentially finished.

Got to kick at the darkness till it bleeds daylight.

Quite a project you've undertaken.

On the foo dogs, remember to reverse their positions when 'permanently' installed.  I'm pretty sure that is the normal way to have them set up.  But I'm no expert, just what I recall seeing, the items under the paws to the inside.

Those do look the biz.  Should fit in nicely.

15s, I am agree that the Fu Lions would look better reversed. However, the Fu Lion with the ball is the male and he should be located on the right side of an entrance (looking out)  :?

I have finally finished all of the build (except for a layer of dilute PVA over the styrofoam core of the foam core that is exposed in the crenelations). Next up painting, as soon as the glue dries.

After almost two years I have finally completed this project. I particularly like it be cause I can use the lamasery as fortified or non-fortified. Here are pictures of the lamasery on it's fortifified base without staircase and Fu lions so that you can see it a bit closer.

Here is a picture of the entire lamasery build.

....and a picture of the lamasery in it's natural environment.
