He was only awarded the Knight's Cross in the morning prior to his death at Arnhem that very day.

I am very tempted by Company B's Matilda Flame.  I have to see a picture first before making a large investment.  I noticed Bruce now has Australian divisional decals as well.  Spoilt we are.

Pictures up on the Company B site:

Ian Crouches' Matilda, both Flame and 2 pounder
New M-24 Chaffee
Russian T-28 (formerly from Ian as well)

I'll have pictures of the Matilda and New M3 75mm GMC halftrack this week as they get painted/photographed.

That Chaffee looks gorgeous though the wheels could do with some detail.

Daft as that may sound given the fact that they get covered in loads of mud etc, but it finishes a model off to havea few bolts showing:O)

Turret shape looks very good.

There actually are bolts...  but in the metal casting process they are not as pronounced.  If I did some more highlights and a shadow wash, they'll probably come out better...  I'll see if I can get those to be more visible..

Just released today, and available at Fall-In is our U.S. Marine 75mm SPM M3 Halftrack.  Comes with three Marines, to drive, aim and fire!  Halftrack and Marines sculpted by the talented Mr. Mike Broadbent.

Yes, this can also be used by US army gamers for North Africa.  A U.S. infantry crew for that period is casting right now...  So you can pair this up with a couple of M3 Lee tanks and take on the Desert Fox!  Or have the "Rat Patrol" do it all by themselves...

Stay tuned tomorrow, as there is more to come.  Especially for fans of WW2 railway gaming  ;)
