If you're asking about Victorian Britain I looked into it and gave up, that's why I decided to go for 20mm. That way I could tap into the world of HO/OO modelling, there's more Victorian Britain architecture in there than you can shake a stick at. I got my 20mm Prussains from B&B Miniatures and will be getting my 20mm Brits from Newline (wee bit of conversion needed) and hey presto I've got England invaded with all the terrain I need. Alternatively if the invasion is the other way around there's plenty of Continental train modelling manufacturers who deliver the goods.

Then again depending on the size of your 15mm figs they may fit in with HO/OO scale buildings anyway. I've got some 15mm Lancashire Games figs and they are huge, pretty much 20mm, even bigger when you base them!

There is always the alternative of scratchbuilding.
Don't!

Well most of my figs are truly 15mm, some 16mm, and prussians are close to 18mm. So I dont think it will be GREAT difference to use 20mm scale buildngs. Well who cares if door will be 2 mm higher than in 15mm scale :)
Thanx for replying, I will try to find some terain in the internet.

2 Bungle - european buildings for towns. Late 19 century. Maybe some Old West buildings.

By tha way Thunderchicken, where did you find these 20mm victorian buildings? I am wandering of london street lamps :)

The last thing I need is another scale , but the combination of using 18mm Black hat miniatures , I got a few Martian service ones when they first came out  , and having plenty of  terrain available is very appealing. Now they have home service available my plan to do the Battle of Dorking comes closer to reality ( ok in a cple of years anyway). Good ideas chaps.

18mm is not so diffrent with 15mm. I am still want to get some Black Hat 18mm heavy prussians for my army (and caphalopods). But what about Victorian buildings?

For HO/OO buildings Google any of the following and you'll get some idea of what's on offer:

Scenix
Hornby Skaledale
Bachmann
Dapol
Metcalfe (cardstock but cheap)
Knightwing
Wills

There are heaps more if you search the net.

Fjodin, for street furniture and other sundries there's Langley Models but they are based in the UK.

There is a German manufacturer which produces buildings in the TT gauge (which is 1/120). This gauge was very popular in the former GDR. Maybe some of these buildings might be handy.

These buildings are limited to "Continental Europe" settings rather...

Nope (but the scale debate is not conclusive..).
1/100 = 15mm
1/144 = 10mm
1/300 = 6mm
But consider the scale creep (15mm becoming 18mm etc) and you see the problem...
cheers and keep on gaming, Agis - https://www.adpublishing.de
