The Last Command...
« on: November 16, 2010, 01:39:45 PM »
...is on Channel 4 right now, Alamo fans.

A bit more B-Movie-ish than the John Wayne version, but at least it doesn't go on all bloody day. Love the idea of cavalry with ladders charging at high stone walls. What did they think would happen when they got there? Were the horses supposed to climb up the ladders?  lol

Hurry, though. You've already missed the first half hour.  :)

Well you've missed it all now. The Mexicans won again, despite their ridiculous tactics. They always seem to. I don't think the scenario is very well balanced.

Most sympathetic portrayal of Santa Anna I've seen on screen, I think. Quite the reluctant bad guy.

One thing I've learned, the Boot Hill range needs more 50s haircuts  lol

It's Channal 4 so they'll pobly repeat it if you want a copy Nick  ;)
Well I've lead an evil life, so they say, but I'll outrun the Devil on judgement day.
