An alternative history.
« on: 13 May 2010, 08:39:51 AM »
We plan to expand the armies lists of Naran Future Wars also to the period of World War II. A Weird WWII.
As a scenario we are thinking about an alternative history, in which the Valkyrie congiure was successful. Rommel became the President of Germany and signed an armistice with the Allies. The allied army has occupied the whole of Germany.
The Red Army stopped at borders.
The Heads of the Nazis were almost all eliminated. The SS unit was disbanded.
In Italy the civil war ended. German forces surrendered. Would then retrodated to the month of July 1944 what happened on April 1945. All Fascist leaders were executed. Italy remain a monarchy.
While negotiations are underway for the peace treaty, the Earth is invaded by Aliens (as in Turtledove novels of "Invasion").
Some Nazi scientists, who fled to Brazil, giving rise to the armies of Zombies and/or clones and/or robots.
A new world war starts.
What do you think about this?

Argentina, please.

Not too long ago on one of the fora I frequent, I read an impassioned post by a Brazilian gentleman who pointed out that, as an Allied nation which contributed several divisions to the invasion of Europe and supported the Battle of the Atlantic as well as being a major supply base for Operation Torch, Brazil would have been an uncomfortable climate for former Third Reich extremists. He blames the Ira Levin novel "The Boys from Brazil" in part for the misunderstanding - that and the average person's ignorance of his nation's contributions to the war effort...

yep to all the above.
I expect though that 'The Boys From Brazil' title was chosen primarily because it sounded better than '...Paraguay', 'Uraguay', etc
Commission Painting undertaken, PM or email me.

I apologize me with the Brazilian friends.
That was not my intention to offend them.
This is just a game, an innocent game for childrens a bit 'grown ......
The choice of Brazil it is derived simply from the fact that it is there that the bulk of the Amazon jungle, ideal refuge for shady characters.
And is always in the Amazon jungle that the Predators could go hunting for skulls. In the Argentine Pampas plains? Nah, I'd say no!
