Does anyone know where to find corrugated iron, scaled to fit 28mm?

I got mine as sheet styrene from Antenociti's Workshop but I am reliably informed by the people at Tablescape that you can get corrugated card from art shops and picture framers that works very well.

Aye that corrugated card is brilliant stuff - much easier to work and a lot cheaper.

That's what I do.

The card has a flat back to it aswell so gluing to surfaces makes it a lot easier although you'll have to use the styrene version if it is free standing.

cheers

Cardboard box, with one outer layer peeled off to reveal the corrugation.

Admittedly this is quite large gauge for 28mm although it works well enough. But you can find smaller gauge corrugated cardboard packaging on things like chocolate boxes...

I used corrugated cardboard of the cheapest kind for this:

The gauge is probably to big but in this case it works for me.

Thanks guys. Looks like I can save some money here.  :)

It looks really nice on the pics. I will use the corrugated iron for a converted school bus that transports the survivors in my zombie town/scenery.

I've also found that the thermal sleeves on Starbucks type coffee cups are smaller "scale" than the corrugated boxes.  So save your thermal sleeves.

really want to go crazy, then buy a corrugated paper crimper and make your own.  It works on paper, tin foil, thin plastic, etc.

Another vote for corrugated cardboard but if you want true scale and free standing, you will find tht you can buy corrugated metal sheets at some model railroad suppliers. Expensive when compared to the cardboard and plastic options but it cuts with a pair of scissors. I used this for making corrugated iron fences.
