I think Ray is refering to this tread; http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=19851.0 ::)

Thanks for you comments pals.

lol Sorry to disappoint you Mancha, but the Staff Car is still at the "crappy stage"… As I’m moving at the end of this month, I try to paint and sell as more figures as I can to "lighten the load" before the change of apartment ;)

Well, certainly I will be happy to acquire some more of your Pulp efforts.  The ones I got before are certainly wonderful!

Thanks for your purchase Steve, I’m glad you like the figures you bought… I have 13 British in Shorts and Sun Helmets on the painting table right now. They are the only Pulp figures I have left.

The rest of what I’m painting at the moment are Malamute’s Mounted Personalities and Texans for the Alamo and a unit of Napoleonic Hussars… lol I’m afraid that they would look a little out of place in a Pulp game ;)

Not if you lump time travel in with Pulp! You have to sell yourself a little harder.  ;)

With the last comments I received here, I’m almost ashamed to show these now…

and a close-up...

They are the last figures from Pulp that I’ve painted and the last of this bunch. They are more "drab" than the other figures as they are meant to be rank and file troops. The figures themselves don’t have that "little something" that have Bob Murch’s latest sculpts.

Now, I only need to finish the Staff Car to bring this tread to its conclusion… But I don’t really know when that will be ;)

Here are two pictures of the (almost) finished Staff Car. I’ve sharpen the edges of the dark blue shading with the base color then give the whole car a wash of Grey-Blue. It give the Staff Car an even color but still the shading shows thru (not as much as I would have wanted though). I give the lower part of the car a wash of beige to represent dust and dirt. All I need to do now is to give the model a coat of matt varnish and put a drop of gloss varnish on the headlights.

The following pictures, with figures added, show the scale of the Staff Car…

Really nice; appropriately subtle.  The only problem is that the blue of the car sort of camoflages the blue of the headlights.

Can you tell me exactly what car this is?  My Hinterland ladies could use some wheels.

@ Mancha, I think that you're right about the headlight... I will think of an other way to do them.

The car is a Die Cast 1914 Prince Henry Vauxhall from Matchbox's Model of Yesteryears

just a little suggestion
if You want a bit more profile, how about using the basic colour of the car with a drop of the dust colour as a highlight drybrush and then the dust colour (not as wash) but as diluted paint to drybrush on the dusty spots. The rougher pigment will look dustier.
You could try this after the varnish and wash it off if You don't like it
