Colours of Miskatonic University?

I voted for Purple and White myself.

When I did my course in Medieval Metaphysics there as an exchange student, I bought this shirt in the Campus Store. Nice place by the way, but stay away from the monthly campus fishing trips. Trust me...



It's a simple Black on Grey, that faded to Dark Grey on Near White over time. I'd much rather have a Deep Purple shirt instead...

Well, that's exactly what occurred during the fishing trip, except there was no Frank Zappa. Although admittedly, a flare gun was involved in the aftermath. As were a machette, a severed, scaly, webbed hand, pictures on milk cartons and an oddly hushed up investigation...

In my CoC, it's orange and green.

My daughter's MU T shirt is purple and white, though.

I confirm.  I just bought two of these tees and they are purple with white.

You should be ashamed, everyone knows that Miskatonic Universities colour scheme is out of space!

I'd make it contrast sharply with whatever your backgrounds are going to be.  As there will likely be a lot of green and purple on the monster side of things, you'd want your heroes to be at odds, in order to help them stand out and allow them to feel constantly as though they're foreign to whatever location you're using.  If they're up against purples and greens, give 'em orange.  Orange and white might be good.  Professors might wear school scarves.

There's also the likelihood that, being an older New England University, the school might be made up of colleges, each with their own colors.

And cheerleaders... hmmm...... a shoggoth as turn-marker..... tentacles as score-markers... a Cult Hight Priest as coach, a mad scientist as apothecary...  don't get me started...
