Strange Aeons...The Magazine!

Just got issue 1 and 2 in the mail the other day and I gotta say quite a diverse spread of all things Lovecraftian. This mag (although it has the same title as our game...) has no relation other than to be 'in the same vein' as far as subject matter goes, although we get a glowing review in issue 2! 
basically an anthology sort of magazine, much like 'Heavy metal' or '2000 AD', several comic and text stories, reviews, news and anything related to the mythos. If you have a bizarre obsession with Cthulhu related stuff you need to get it for the 'Unearthed' and 'Forbidden Lore' sections alone which will keep you up to date on what to read (or not...) and what new goodies are out there. The text and comic stories vary in quality but this is also one of the strengths of having several per issue...there is plenty to look thru!
The coming issue will be a 'King In Yellow' special...may be a good time to jump on board! If I was you thou, I'd order all the issues...just to be sure.

Speaking of name likenesses: 'Lurker at the Treshold' has just been published (expansion to Arkham Horror)  - yes, i am aware that it is also the title of a piece of fiction, so not so strange, really, but still, made me chuckle.

Anyone who plays Strange Aeons may want to pick up a copy of the third issue, there will be a couple of pages of new rules included. Pretty cool rules I might add! And possibly more...watch this space for more details as it unfolds...

I contacted them from work - hope to have my answer tomorrow.... Interesting to see if they can make it cross the pond witout lining the envelope with sheet gold

I also contacted them and they said that they´ll get back to me when they know the shipping costs. Can´t possibly be too much for 3 issues... Well I´ll hope for the best and expect the worst
