Sangennaru, I believe the village has 34 buildings. Most of the buildings are by a company called Landmark, and they are from their Normandy buildings. I understand that they were out of production for a time, but I have recently seen a report on The Miniatures Page that they are back in business and from what I have seen they have fixed the problems that existed when I bought them. That problem was that they were about a quarter inch too short and the bottom of the doors had not been part of the original casting. I added a quarter inch of plastic to the bottoms on mine and sculpted the missing door but it was a lot of work. If you look closely at my pictures you can see a plane foundation on most of the buildings. That's the plastic I added for height. The reissue doesn't seem to have that problem; the doors look fine. The Landmark buildings come nicely painted though I repainted mine because of the repair problem I spoke of. Three of the 34 buildings are from the Peter Pig Normandy range, and six of the buildings are by a company called Fire Base Miniatures. I believe the rights to those buildings are now owned by Brookhurst Hobbies, but they are not producing them at this time. Thanks for the kind words about the collection. Richard
