I was somewhat disappointed with the Eureka tchanka. It is sold as 28mm but it is smaller. All horses broke at the hooves. Really a shame for such a nice idea.

The brigade Finns are great and on my list. Together with the Gebirgs jaeger they would make for a great arcctic scenario.

I just sent First Lady Helen the following films on dvd:

Winter War

...and Unknown Soldier, based on the novel by Vainö Linna.
There is one flick from 1955 but teh 1985 remake is even better

Thankyou for your message. I'm aware of both compaines and thay are on our Finland WW2 yahoo group with photos when we can get them.

Actually, Paul from Baker Company sent me an e-mail yesterday after I ask a question if Baker Company could make a Winter War Finn with a satchel charge. Its seems very likely that they can do this. Its really (apart from an anti-tank rifle) the only item missing from their anti-tank pack. I do like the way they have a figure with a tree branch.

Brigade Games do some reindeer in 28 mm. I'll look at this in time for the scraps in the Lapland region.
