Hollywood and celebrity life certainly has taken his toll on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Very nice entry Raz.  I love the bases, which is something that I really struggle with.

Your entry is very nice as well Bobbo. For my base I use a lot of tufts and turf, it's awesome stuff, very easy to apply and it adds a lot to the bases of figures.

Hehehe, Middle-age Mutant Ninja Turtles 8)

Great work on those Hordes models Raz, the colours look very down-to-earth and fit the models and the theme beautifully! I do think the other entry offers a bit more variation and I love the look of those little critters 8)

Bobbo, ever think about staging your background pic in two layers?  This pic in particular has a nice tree ridge that would add a bit of dimension to an already pretty good bit of work.

You mean like cutting the background into two pieces at the top of the closer hill and staggering it so the back one looks farther away?  That might be a quick way to add some depth.  Ideally I would set an actual background with modeled trees and things, but I'm actually building and painting everything from scratch for this competition, so I'm running dangerously short on time.  Plus, I'm running out of room in my lightbox!
