Ahh Curt! Finally I see what you were talking about  :o
Fabulous work! Your basing really looks like somewhere in the Egyptian desert.

Are those frenchies from Eureka (or have the camel-riders been converted in some way)?

I think I need to paint some of my Bag'o'C' minis as different kinds of stone, too...  :)

A very LPL entry, Curt, telling a little story like that.  :)

Thanks Nick! I was using all our recent Painting Challenge camels as my muse.  :)

Thanks for the kind words folks!

Very nice work on those Lawmen, strutter. I particularly like the fellow 'clearing leather' (second from the left). Are these a mix of different sculpts?

@Argonor & Rob_bresnen: The French (Paul Hicks sculpts) are from a little-known range from Brigade Games. Their site can be a bit difficult of navigate at times, which I think does their sales a disservice. That being said there have been several entries this year featuring their British naval landing figures.

Thanks, I've made a mental note of that. You never know if you're gonna need camel riders...

I am familiar with the Brigade Games range (I am one of the ones who have done Navy landing parties) but I never looked at the French.. must go and have a look now!

The 2 2nd from th  left and 3rd from the left are Wargames Foundry. I'm not sure about the other 3, I have had them for a while. I had to paint them up for a Lengends of the Old West tournament at Adepticon last last week

Darnit! I was going to include a Cthulhu statue in one of my later rounds. Guess I go to Plan Two. No, I won't share.

I like that tricolor coat the standing fellow in the tophat is sporting. Tres republicain!

And as for the lawmen, I second the notion that the second fellow from the left is the best of a good lot. My cowboys don't look half so good.
