Brilliant Alex  :-*
I love the painting on the elephant's saddlecloth best of all  :)
(But the rest of it is pretty special too).

thanks to all for the kind comments!

Truly inspiring work, Professor! I especially like the 'weathering' for your legionary shields.

Though I have to mention that these LBM transfers are originally coming with some kind of weathering, see the picture below. I've only intensified the effect splashing some ink over it :)

Nil desinendum!

I'll try it :)

Thanks for the additional info, Prof. Nonetheless your finished models look excellent - your weathering enhancements blend in quite nicely with the transfer images.

Cheers,
Scott

LBMS are a great system !

Even if you are a good painter, you spare some painting hours for the purpose.   ;D

Hi Professor,

That is a lovely elephant and guard unit - are they in fact Romaioi elephant guard?  :)

Beautiful terrain too. I'm inclined to believe the Romans would have used the Lucanian cows if they could have got hold of them. The lack of historic evidence is probably more to do with scarcity of supply leading to isolated use, rather than no use at all. And besides, it looks too good and no one can prove you wrong! More Roman elephants I say!
