“Slaves of the Elephant God!”

Every year I run a pulp Mega-Game at Historicon, a big, loud, often hot and sweaty affair with four tables, each with a different locale, run by assistant directors. here's my blurb, just submitted, for this years's event:

“Slaves of the Elephant God!”

A Pulp Mega-Game from the production team that brought you “Nazi Zombies Must Die” and ‘Africa Screams!” Pounding pulpy action from the jungles of Burma to the jagged mountains of Waziristan to lost civilizations!. Crazed fanatics, hideous deities – and that’s just the players! With multiple locales and tables, frenetic pacing and lashings of ham acting, players must protect the world from unholy evil, foul things from beyond, and probably some Germans.

A hat and raincoat?

last year we had 48 lucky contestants (including myself and 4 other directorial staff) in one room. Hot? Sweaty? You bet.

One year somebody brought a case of a product that labelled itself "Hooch!". It was one of those alcohol-plus-fruit juice/fake colouring/corn syrup drinks that nobody in their right mind would touch. We proclaimed that the game was 'brought to you by Hooch', and drank the lot.

sounds like a hoot!  Wish I could find out more!  unfortunately there is no way I could end up in historicon in the near future...

I played in last year's game.  I do recall the room as crowded!  Reminded of my bodyguard days in Morocco.
