20mm Terminator Army (LWC Project).

Hey all! Decided to post this as separate to my Last War Chronicles project since it sort of has multiple purposes, however, here is my 20mm Terminator (or EN-4s if you have been following the blog!) I have yet to post them on the LWC blog but decided here would be best! Do enjoy! The background can be found here at http://lastwarchronicles.wordpress.com/ under the 'Welcome to the Machine' page. Its a bit too big to stick on LAF!













The Bots are the same size as Elheims 20mm figs, and are from 'The Scene' whom do some very nice 15mm stuff (the bots i used here are the heavy androids.) The Big bots are none other than from the pre painted Mech Warrior series, which I have had for years (from the Dark age expansion packs!) I repainted and rebased them as bigger bots! Link to The Scene below! Will be adding more to these as I go along! All they require right now is a bit more basing!

Btw I am looking for some good vehicles/aerial stuff I can use to support this fledgling army, I have been looking at RAFMs drones but has anyone got any other ideas or seen anything that would be a good mini for them? I have poked about ebay for the actual Terminator stuff but it comes and goes!

As for flyers, have you considered the drone variant of GZG's Mantis VTOL?

I quite like it, and although it is 15mm, I think it would look okay next to your 20s, especially as a robot/autonomous drone thingy. Obviously, it's more in the weight class of the Mk1 Hunter Killers in the third movie rather than the big flyers from the others, but it could be a proper start.

Also, my local Modelzone recently sold off Terminator RC helicopters, including some small (6") hunter-killers. They were about 15 quid then, and may have gone down since if a store near you does the same. Didn't look closely when I was there on Saturday, so they might already be gone, but they looked nice enough, although it might be considered a shame to forego the actual flight capacity to use it as a wargame piece.

Those are some good ideas thanks! Luckily there is a modelzone nearby so I will check it out. If they are still about £15 I don't think it will be tooo much of a shame to clip of the flying bits (it will probably break after its first flight anyway!) but I will definitely have a look at those GZG aerial drone, thats one I certainly did not think of!

I have a few of the Scene's 15mm (Not)Terminators and was planning on getting some of these heavier battledroids to accompany them. In the meantime I ordered some of Rebel Minis WildCAT and TomCAT driods. These are about 26mm or so high and would fit in perfectly with your army...
