Middle Eastern town for 2nd edition game
« on: 29 June 2011, 02:30:03 AM »
I'm working on my games for Historicon and decided to show some pictures of the town for the .45 Adventure 2nd edition games. These are MBA buildings and some scratchbuilt ones that I purchased online.

I wanted a very cramped town with very few long lines of sight and tight quarters. I think this succeeded very well.

Wow that is nice!!!

The adobes of the middle east make for such an atmospheric setting! I could easily imagine antique dealers, occult practices or even Nazis running around in there!  :` lol

Brilliant.

Any spoilers for what the scenario will be like? I of course am specifically interested in the villainous baddies you could cook up for the board. Man, I've got to make it out to Historicon one of these years...

Looking good,

You've certainly captured the "cramped" feel of a middle eastern town - looking forward to seeing the "action" shots.

Well, there will be Turkish soldiers, dead Crusader Knights, venomous snakes, plague-carrying rats, and foul-tempered camels.

Fantastic town.  :o

I really need to start scratch-building things - especially now, with all my savings disappearing into a black hole called 'new windows'....  >:(

I feel your pain. Just replaced all the windows in my house. The reason I had to cancel a planned trip to Salute was because of that.

Yeah - the man from the window company 'forgot' to tell us, that we would have to get all the wooden panels inside the windows replaced, too, as the new windows have broader frames than the old ones...  >:(

Sets us back the equivalent of $3,000 that weren't budgeted.... We almost had to skip our planned summer vacation.  :(

Is there any other type besides foul-tempered camels?  :D
