September Swarms In
« on: September 01, 2011, 05:52:10 PM »
It's a new month, which means time for new models!  This month, we have the first of our Swarms: Rats!  Yes, we know, plenty of manufacturers make rat swarms.  But we've endeavored to make these closer to life-sized, as opposed to the "rodents of unusual size" you tend to see elsewhere.

Next month, we have a double release coming up, as well as (hopefully) a spiffy new offer for the insane cultists among us.

Very nice!

Are those cast with the lipped bases, or are the rats separate inserts/drop-ins for the lipped bases? (I have this allergy to oversized bases, but feel the need for a rat swarm or three...)

(minor edit to correct a typo that rendered the entire first sentence nonsensical...)

The base is only a small round, slightly larger than the swarm itself.  You could easily fit them on a standard 25mm base or washer with some room to spare.

Nice, now bring out the scarabs...  >:D

Actually, these are some of the nicer rats I've seen (alongside Vikotnik's/Pardulon's swarms).

My Strange Aeons gaming is on a hold atm, while some guys at my club are getting their Treshold teams and Lurker cults ready (and I'm trying to find time to get my modern zombie horde expanded), but later this fall some activity should occur.  :)
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!
