This could be very very interesting, and potentially extremely risky.

The 'eldritch horrors' that could have evolved to exist in the icy dark abyssal world under the ice after millions of years of isolation would be best left alone I feel.

Either that or just a few wierd species of antartic algae!

Now leaving aside the fact that this still doesn't explain how YOU know what's in it, what really gets to me is that your parents must be younger than me. Now that makes me feel old (which is fair enough 'cos I am... .

Anyway, a friend of mine used to work at the Oceanography Centre in Southampton and she is as mad as box of frogs so we'd better watch out. She lives in Cornwall now, just across the border from Devon so you, Commander, should be particularly careful....!

Or maybe its like that film where apparently a load of Dragons whom had wiped out the Dinosaurs had decided to nest under London and promptly (if not to the benefit of all on Planet Earth) after discovery burned it all down. I bet thats whats going on here! Dragons down there! Waiting, in the year 2012 we will all be living in Welsh Castles hiding away from the winged beasts!
