Upon magnification I found this strange formation in the Dry Valley satelite image.

Since the camera lense shattered right after these images were transferred from the satelite I think I will have to send a research team to investigate.

Well spotted Hammershield!

But, now you've let the cat out of the bag I fear yours won't be the only expedition battling to get there first. There may be trouble ahead.......

Please keep us informed of any game reports etc  :)

I hope I am not too late!  I did not see this post last week, whatever you do, do not use thermite to loosen the hatch to attempt to peer inside it.

But even more importantly, if you find something in the ice, let it be, don't take it back with you, and do not thaw it out.

I just hope you listen to my advice.  In the event that you do not or did not, or I am too damned late, I will be in my basement with a rifle and a lot of canned food.

Oh.

Well, I *did* go there, and I *did use thermite to loosen the hatch and I did *peer* inside...

And you're suggestion that the the thing I found in the ice, I should have let it be, not taken it back with me, and not thawed it out?

So let me ask you this: the tentacles growing out of my armpits, is that a bad thing?
