It is clear :-)
I am currently following information about
the army of the Emir:
After the reform in the late 1890s, Army Noble Bukhara was given in the following composition: 2 horse hundreds dzhilyau (guard of the Emir), 10 battalions of four companies Sarbaz everyone Guards Horse-Artillery Battery (6 guns), some non-standard commands in the cities ( analogue of local teams in Russia).
Artillery (about 500) had a team in Bukhara, Karshi, Hissar, Garm, Qala-i-Khumbu, Baldzhuane.
Three battalions (two in Bukhara and one in Darvoz) were armed with rifles, Berdan, and the rest of the infantry and remained with the old 7-line rifles.
In 1904, the Emperor gave the Emir of four 2.5-inch mountain gun with ammunition. These guns were a part of the Guards battery.
D.I. Logofet published in a 1909 book "The country without the right", wrote that hundreds of horse and battery Guard Emir called Terek and equip as Terek Cossacks. The reason is that the Emir was in the Terek Cossack Army.
We can assume that they wore black Circassian coat, black papakhas. Tunic in hundreds of horse should be light blue, and the artillery battery - black. Although this is only speculation.
Who succeeded his father Emir Sayyid Alim was Major General of His Majesty's entourage and was listed on the Terek army.
In 1918-19 the army supplemented by three guards serkerde (regiments), Turkish, Sponsorship, and Arab (most likely on the ethnic composition was not Arab, and Afghan). The first consisted of 8 Bayrak (hundreds) and more than 300 bayonets and machine guns 2 and 3 guns. The second consisted of 6 Bayrak and consisted of 1000 infantry and 1000 cavalry. Apparently, its membership includes hundreds of dzhilyau. Arabic serkerde consisted of 4 Bayrak and were about 400 sabers.
By 1920, the armed forces of the Emir consisted of:
1) The regular army consists of: 8275 bayonets, 7580 sabers, 12 machine guns and 23 guns, located in the bulk of Old Bukhara and its surroundings;
2) the regular army of beks (princes), consisting of 27,070 bayonets and sabers, 2 machine guns, 32 guns of various old.
By 1920 armed with the Guard - the British are made 7.71-mm rifle Lee-Enfield and machine guns Hotchkiss and Vickers. The army and militia beks were armed is much worse.
As reported to the Soviet military agent in Bukhara - "some military units have a monotonous and rather decent uniform, differing only cover caps and color tabs. On the uniform ranks of certain parts of the uniform pattern found ...".
According to these data, the guards of the Emir had their own, special uniforms:
Turkish serkerde - red fez with black tassels, red uniforms with black trim and white trousers;
Sponsorship serkerde - black astrakhan papakhas and red uniforms;
Arabic serkerde - black papakhas Tekin and dark olive overcoat with red tabs with the image of the crescent and star.
