The other 9 Mumaks were straining at the leash to get into combat but I'm particularly fond of this one...

Finally some pics of the Asian 'Cloud ladders' my Haradrim army will be using in the future. They are scratchbuilt from balsa, cocktail sticks and card with railway track pins as bolts/rivets and fine chain hardware

They have proved surprisingly easy to make - (approx 2hrs - 1hr to make parts and 1hr for assembly). This shot shows them in the stowed position. A 4 man archer crew is screened behind the front mantlet as they advance. Engineers with long poles start them off then haul on the chains to flip them over into position. They are capable of bridging large moats and reaching anything from 7" to 11" high.

D'you think you'll be painting or washing them for weathering/colour?

In common with other medieval Chinese military hardware I'll be giving them a brick red paint job with blackened iron fittings, suitably weathered and peppered with arrows etc.
