Those look very nice. I hadn't seen those weathering spray dyes before, either.

Not seen the weathering sprays before. What do they actually do, and how?

Very nice paintjob, seems like a great way to get a quick & effective result.

As to the model itself, the design of the steps seems strange, wouldn't those big holes be somewhat hazardous to the pedestrians?

Sure, I was merely pointing out the implications if they were used in real life. Luckily our minis go nowhere without bases, so they're perfectly safe! lol

sorry,i thought everbody knows everything about the Modelmates Stuff  ::)
However there is a  VideoTutorial on the Modelmates Site for the use of the Liquids+Plastic Models (Plasticville,Resin Scenerey etc).Just follow the Instructions you cant do wrong  :)
http://www.modelmates.co.uk/

But as for the Sarissa Stuff-they dont work well with the Modelmates Liquids (same with Inks/washes etc)
The Sprays are allready thinned (while the Liquids are pure) so you dont have to remove the Paint as you would do when using the Liquids.Of course you can use the Spraycans for Plastic Models too

I think in the stair's case (pun intended) they need to be a bit large for practical reasons, so minis fit in there and don't fall over etc. It seems you can easily cut the rail posts to make them a little lower etc?

I think they're 1" high risers on purpose to allow for controlled game play. Yes, they'd be more attractive if they were smaller but the aim of the design was to be part of the game.
So many projects..... so little time.......
