Wasteland 2 Kickstarter Project

There's a Kickstarter project for Wasteland 2, Wasteland 1 was released back in 1988 and is regarded as the first sandbox-type post-apocalyptic role-playing game for personal computers. Many later games such as the Fallout series were inspired by or even paid homage to it (Tyco the Ranger NPC in Fallout, for example, as well as Reilly's Rangers in Fallout 3).
