Just for info - the 2nd ed. polystyrene pitch was a slightly different size to the current pitch.  Both are 15 squares wide but the 3rd. ed pitch is 26 squares long inluding endzone whilst the 2nd. ed was 28 squares long with a double endzone at each end (for the card team names to sit on).  You can still use it - just be aware that you'll need to adjust it slightly unless you're still playing 2nd. ed rules.
