More Perry Plastic
« on: 15 June 2012, 02:37:28 PM »
Hi, thought it was about time I finally got round to adding my efforts on the excellent Perry plastics and also take the plunge and post pictures of my miniatures for the first time. The first picture is outside the house that some of you may recall I built some time ago. I liked the combination of blue and white so with the addition of livery badges they may well up Burgundian or just remain as a fictional household, haven't decided yet!

Thanks for looking.

Great brushwork. Lovely skin tones, and I particularly like the shading on the grey hose for the chap on the right.  :)

Top work– how will you base them  ???

Thanks for the comments guys appreciate it.

Captain - plenty more in the pipeline, how long it will take me to finish them is another matter as I am not the most prolific of painters. However I think aiming to post regular updates might inspire me to keep going.

Oxiana - not decided on the basing yet, though I will probably base them singly for skirmish level gaming, would take me too long to paint up enough for anything bigger. :)

cheers

Might I suggest 2 pence pieces  for basing as they give the figures some heft and are convenient and cheap. Lovely post by the way.

Great work sir. Burgundians? Somerset? Faulconberg? If you don't add the badges you can play all three!

Very nice figures, like how you've done the shading and highlights on the cloth.
