They are great minis. I've been steadily working my way through painting them, and they are a real treat. Don't know if I'll be getting the dwarves, but the Mammoth!?  Can't wait to see it!

Not in a released set yet, perhaps if there is a barbarian character pack she will appear there.

Hmmm. You know I'm not sure they are going to happen after all... There was a line in the newsletter about Dallimore's paint job on the barbarians as the survivors of earlier imperial invaders, in red, with black hair - the lost legion perhaps?
Looks like messrs Copplestone and Dallimore are reinventing the mythos as they go along...  

They better.   In some strange way I've been looking forward to the 'not Romans'. Something a bit like Morgans army in Excalibur would be nice, all sort of dark with rusty armour. Or maybe like the 9th legion veterans from the Eagle.  

Edit: Have just read the newsletter. Mr.C describes the barbarians as the descendants of a once 'great' civilisation. And also says that the dwarves are usually allied with the Northlanders in their battles with the Romans.

So there's hope yet!!

Beautiful painting on great figures.  I really want to see those Romans come out.  Now to decide on some rules for this.....hmmmmmmm.....
