Mutineer Miniatures was supposed to do a Taiping Rebellion/China range which seems unlikely to see the light of day now. Is the company still going ? The Mutineer website has been down for a few weeks and it doesn't look like there is any activity to report there.

Mutineer site seems to be working OK - with a Christmas sale (25% discount) offer as well.

The website is now much better than it was, there has been a bit of a restructure of the ownership, but I spoke with them at Warfare last month and everything sounds quite positive, with new Mutiny releases (hopefully including British lancers and heavy dragoons) planned for the Spring.

My mistake : I had failed to bookmark the new website's address. Small wonder I kept getting an error message all the time.

Good thing that Mutineer is still going, then. Have the new owners dropped any hints regarding a potential China range ?

I have always had an interest in China in this period. There are many areas of conflict not just between the Chinese and Europeans. But a number of revolts by different factons within China and her sphere of influance, the Taiping rebellion was just the largest & most successful. I am always looking for new figures for the period and have a large collection myself. Plan to do an 1860 march on Peking at Drumbeat in January with a freind of mine that has a large Indian Mutiny collection to draw the British troops from.
