Paul also did the Musketeer VBCW and ICW ranges which are usable. As is the Empress SCW range. There are anomalies. For instance, the Musketeer stuff strongly features Lee Enfields and Lewis guns and these would not be common in 1919 Germany. Nor would 1930's Italian and Soviet firearms.
Do you know if these two ranges are compatible in scale?
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.

Thanks for all the replies! (You can never know enough about beer.  ;D)

@ Gray Ghost: Which ones would you like? I got quite some from the Musketeer and Empress ranges...  ;)

I received two sets from Scheltrum today and took some comparison photos:

From left to right: Scheltrum - Tsuba - Scheltrum - Tsuba

From left to right: Scheltrum - Tsuba - Scheltrum - Tsuba

From left to right: Tsuba - Scheltrum - Tsuba

The Scheltrum miniatures are from the sets 'SEM2 - Armed workers in shirt sleeves, advancing. Set of 4 assorted.' and 'SEM7 - Sparticists in civilian coats. Shooting and standing.'.

EDIT (November 25th): Better comparison photos added.

The Werdenfelser will soon (after moulding and casting) get some reinforcements in form of an assault set containing two guys armed with Bergmann MP18 submachineguns and a two man flamethrower team handling a Wex 17:

PLEASE NOTE: This set is NOT historical correct! The Freikorps Werdenfels was never equipped with these weapons. So, this set is purely for those, who use the miniatures in a non-historical setting (for example in  Pulp games, VBCW and others).
They are, however, the correct weapons for this time and other Freikorps/'White' units used them in the fightings of 1918/1919 in Germany.

Here are two photos showing the WEX 17 in use in Berlin 1919:

Never hear that name before.  Found a few more pics:

Apparently it was colloquially know as "The Field Mouse" (feldmaus).

These are insanely good, but they need opponents. The Scheltrum figures just are not in the same league.

With some Reds, you have all you need for a nice little Very German Civil War.

Agreed, that Scheltrum figure grasping a rifle over his head with an overhand grip is just too bizarre for words.

Thanks for the pictures of the Wex 17 - had never seen the first picture before.  I agree that they need some Reds for opponents - Volksmarine and armed workers.

Thanks for the replies!   :)

I hear you regarding some opponents and I'm not saying it's never going to happen...  ;) But next on the list is the Japanese cavalry for the Russo-Japanese War and after that some goodies for the Russians.
