The Bloodiest Hour -- a Pulp Alley AAR
« on: February 10, 2013, 10:56:52 PM »
WOLF v PHLEBO

(In this scenario we are also playtesting rules for Gangs, Cursed Presence, and Ancient Sects)

Aware of Dr. Phlebo’s evil scheme to assassinate the new governor and terrorize the town, Captain Wolf races to stop the villain! As soon as Wolf reaches Governor Waites, gunfire erupts, and Chen is shot down…

The Vento crew defends the governor and Max escorts him to nearby cover, as Phlebo’s monstrous minions move in with murderous intent…

Deadly fire from red-robed cultists and a ravenous swarm takes a heavy toll on Wolf’s crew…

Captain Wolf clears the swarm away, but not before Bosun and Hwang are badly injured…

In the dark alleys Dr. Phlebo goes about his evil deeds as his crazed minions lure Wolf into a deadly trap…

Phlebo’s fanatics rush the Captain from multiple directions. Wolf drops several of the crazies, but suffers grievous injuries in return...

Bleeding badly, Captain Wolf pulls back to cover the governors retreat…

The new governor was saved from assassination but forced to retreat. And while his minions held Wolf in check, Phlebo was free to move about the village planting poison and explosives. In the bloodiest hour, victory goes to Dr. Phlebo.

Bloodied and bruised, Wolf's crew limps back to the Vento and plots their revenge!

THANKS

Yes, 'atmospheric', that's the word, I love the ambientation and the spirits of it.

This figure is from Copplestone (German Mercenaries Pack). But I do use him as a Corto Maltese style character...

Looks like it was an awesome game! Too bad I didn't get to stick around to watch it first hand.

What's not to like?
Great game, great figures, great terrain and a great AAR. :)

So the update for Pulp Alley will feature not just violence, but sects and violence?

It looks like a good game - but I gotta say, I really like that board that it was played on, the rough rock and desert look. Very nice :)
