Looking forward to your pictures of the PT76 as I bought a Solido one awhile ago. I've been thinking of turning it into a wreck as like you mention the wheels are wrong . (ones missing I think) It also looks way too big next to my Corgi M48's and T34/85.

Well here are some updated figures that were finished this week and the PT-76 from jungle rot with some added bits and bobs from the spares box.
First up Musorian insurgent , Musorian regular, Musorian special actions (prone) PLA advisor.

Next up will be a recoiless rifle insurgent crew and more Musorian regulars.
Still have to do the mantlet cover of the PT-76 with putty and add some stowage and it should be done.
Hope you like :)
more to follow

Hmmmm, that PT-76 doesn't look too bad at all. I might have to purchase one of those.  Still have a bucket load of metal EBR-75s, Panhard AML-60s, saladins and Unimogs to work through first.

Nice detailing work btw.

Yeah it's a nice little representation straight out of the package and I will be picking up another 2 for force on force for Musoria or they may do triple duty as Syrian and Russian cold war warriors.I had fun detailing this could always do more but chose to keep alot of the fiddly stuff off for gaming, You might even see these pop up in Africa once those RLI come out(quadruple duty) lol

Help! you guys I am thinking of changing the setting for the fictional Musoria from SE Asia to NW Asia along the Russian Chinese border near the Stan's.
Which brings me to my problem I have never used TAG , but was thinking of using a couple of their modern russian sets for conversions and was wondering how they are in the flesh? I am not concerned with height as I have seen the Redstar scale comparison what concerns me is the faces on some of the figures appear flat?how are they really I know that this is explained as lighting , figure position etc... so just wanted honest opinions' looking for these to be part of a converted spetsnaz team.
The belligerants will be TAG+redstar+Mongrol VDV for special ops ( all conversions) Vs. Kreigspeil + Col. stones compound PLA.
Now my next question is if any one has an extra TAG modern russian laying around and  would like to trade so that I can see for my self may be we can set something up I have most ranges?now to go build a bridge.
Thanks

if you've got a TAG vietnam US infantry figure or a African* they're the same size as the russians
* not including the "teenagerlooking" ones
here's a pretty poor scan of the size compared to the MM afghans

Col. thanks for the pictures, I really like that sniper I have plans for him if I get them what range are those seperate heads from? unfortunatly I don't have any TAG never got into them, but pictures like this help in my decision making process. When everyone else was doing 28mm I was doing 32mm WW2 so never had a need until now.
I should have some photos of the PT-76 and some new troops up tommorow( maybe a 15mm surprise ;) in future warsif I can get a good photo)
Thanks again for the comparison pic I'll ask if you have any TAG russians to trade?

Hey fellas so sorry for the very arcane threadmancy with this but I have recently restarted this project after a short break  lol .I have been working feverishly on the govt. Troops and some insurgent types to oppose them and the rebels as well. For those who don't know this is going to be set in SE Asia in a sultenate who is backed by the PLA a rebel force aka the Arab spring and some hard core insurgent types...cant forget.the mercenaries used by both sides and the releif forces of France, great Britain and the Usa who are there to bring peace and stop the genocide....I run a couple of different games with what I have using chain reaction and ambush alley contractor troubles...both systems are great for this may try the new sangin rules really like the character based idea.....no need for 50000 million figs just a few to run threw.....loads of pica.to come of in progress and completed stuff as well as some game shots thanks D
