Does anybody know of other websites were you could purchase the same embossed sheets but maybe in styrene or plastic? I find dental plaster to be very hard and heavy...

I too prefer resin or - well, basically almost anything - to plaster. However, aside from the Stronghold Terrain streets I don't know of anything suitable. Also, the plaster streets are only 2mm thick. That's why I mentioned the point about breaking in my post. This also means that the pieces are not heavy at all. A similar resin product would weigh about the same.

Still, if anyone has any suggestions for similar products I too would love to hear them!

Those look very nice and I actually like working with plaster for stone, but I suspect shipping costs for a crate of dental plaster from Germany to Canada would be a bit onerous.

I think you know about Wills plasticard (http://www.gaugemaster.com/architectural.html). I have never tried them because I want to be sure before making the investment... Would you recommend your plaster sheets to create buildings?

Yes, I have seen the Wills cards before. But since I have never seen any proper reviews and creations that use them and they's not available in any physical store I've been to I never bought them. I'd definately love to know more about them.

The dental plaster boards are definately useable for buildings. In fact I plan to do just that and have already ordered a few more boards. But it will be quite some time before I will be able to post any results on my blog.
