Yesterday, there were two battles between the Pelagic Liberation Organisation (Lycoan) and the Tong of the Blue Scorpion (Nosferatu). Sadly, no pictures were taken, but that's just a lesson for next time, I guess.

First off, a rumor sparked the two factions into a hunt for a mysterious artifact. After some covert movements, it was discovered that the rumor was unfounded. Expecting dry-foot trickery, the PLO engaged the Tong in a close fought battle, but overcame the Yellow Devils in the end.

Later, the Tong were hired to guard a local fishmonger who had become a target for the PLO. Although battle was joined almost immediately, the only decisive fight was between the Living God Weng Chiang (Graf) and the Creature from the Black Lagoon (Beastlord). Sadly, the Talons of Weng Chiang were unable to rend the Creature asunder, and after downing the "God", it was able to catch up with the fishmonger, who suffered the fate of being deep-fried and served with chips.

Sorry for the threadomancy, but I finally got the pictures of my last couple of games sorted out.

The games were between my PLO (Lycoan) and my girlfriend's Kami (Nosferatu).

The "pavement" sections are made from high-density unexpanded foam. It comes in brick pallets and is used to separate the layers.

 :o

Some wonderful eye candy there.
LOVE the PLO, what a great idea and the Tong are coming along wonderfully!
 :-* :-* :-*

Great factions battling it out on some very evocative scenery.
What more could you want?

(I do have to ask where the Dragon-thing is from, though? I may be able to use one of those myself.  :D)

I'm not sure where the dragon is from, the misses asked Nic at Eureka minis for a dragon and he dug that one up from god knows where.

A few games were played last Friday at club, I mostly got shots of the clash between my Pelagic Liberation Orgnaisation and Fuzzy's New Albion's Society.

The gentlemen fought bravely to keep a young harlot safe and despite heavy losses, the game ended in a draw.

The NAS chose a good starting position, some low walls to defend and lay down repeating rifle fire from behind.

The PLO split their forces, hoping to "pincer like a crab" the enemy.

The "lady" in distress, or "proof that I need some Victorian civilian models".

Y'ha-ntheli leads a team up through the ruins.

"May'hap I should get the lady out of 'ere?" Surgeon Major GS Robertson makes a tactical withdraw.

The PLO breaks cover and closes on the enemy rifles.

The NAS realise that they may be in trouble.

Contact is made and the PLO start to hit back.

The tide starts to turn.

The Membership sell themselves dearly to protect the Committee.

Alas, British pluck is no match for the savagery of the deep.

Fight on! To the last Englishman!

At the last, the PLO's prey got away. The dry-feet will pay for this insult.

Before we go, a quick look at another Lycoan faction that seems to have made its presence known:

Not much is known about them at this time, perhaps the future will illuminate this new threat.

The armoured suits are from Eureka Miniatures Pax Limpopo range:

The dragon is also from Eureka Miniatures, this time from their 18mm fantasy range:

Living in Melbourne one soon gets to know the Eureka Miniatures catalogue. :)

I like what you've done with the bases.

Love the pictures and the whole Asian theme. So are you getting the hang of the Lycons now? Have you used the full moon unusual occurrence?
