Of possible use for small scale VSF
« on: 25 July 2013, 02:55:20 AM »
New Ironclad kids mean toy from Carl's Jr for Percy Jackson Sea of Monsters
Remember, remember, the Dalek December
With Paris in ruins and London in ember
In times of the future when fears are abating
Don’t try to forget them, the Daleks are waiting
Quietly planning and scheming and hating…

Could be quite fetching, though I think I'd cut the hull off. Where are Carl's Jr.? Don't see a 'find store' on the site.

If anyone knows of any other chains that might see these, t'would be appreciated.

Hardees always has the same toys as Carl Jrs.  Same company.  So if you can find a Hardees your golden.

Here's confirmation of same the toys on the Hardees kids page;
http://www.hardeescoolkids.com/  also store locator on the main Hardees page.

Hmm, interesting possibilities, waterlining it being one.

Much thanks! Hardees no problem, indeed! Excepting eating the food.  ;)

Exactly; I think they consider it waterlined, but looks hinkey to me. Cutting all or most of the hull to give a CSS Virginia ex-Merrimack effect.

Edit: Well, bag that; just remembered other fast food ran them out of town. Nearest is 50 miles away!

Oh, my, shiny...  :?

Well, fingers crossed that the lovely daughter can hold her nose long enough to take the grandchildren there, and I may get a couple of  the boat next month. ;->=

Does the monster pop apart? Looks that way.

It is a little squirt toy. It slides apart but is still conected. Size wise it might make a nice Atlantian mount of some kind. A little plastic cement & green suff would take care if the split in the middle.

No, really, that was my second guess!  lol

Then I saw what I took to be a 'tongue'; prolly just some paint on the table, but looked in the way of squirt gun. Oh, wait, that offends some of our British friends. 'Water pistol' then.
