Is the postage double for both books?

Yes.

Each book is first wrapped in shrinkwrap, then enclosed in a purpose made cardboard wrap, glued shut and posted as a single book.

The size and weight of this packaging means it is able to be posted via Royal Mail as a SMALL PACKAGE, thereby cutting down on cost.

Two books in one package would require different size cardboard outers and a repricing of postage.

I feel as a self-published book and the fact that I am wrapping and glueing and posting the packages - this was the simplest way forward for me.

If you wish to collect the book/books. I can supply you with my address - you would be surprised how many do pick the book/books up. Something to do with the fact that they are then able to see the finished models in person.
