I like them! the large bases are quite effective to look at, though don't you find it an issue if you want to put your figures in column?
I'm painting 15mm SYW stuff at the moment, too, see if I can't get some photos up in the next few days.

Well I've found my SYW troops are very rarely in column.
If they have too I guess they could march sideways down the road! If they have to form square I'll just put them back to back.;)

Now with my luck it will be these battalions who end up having to form column to attack over a bridge! lol

But I couldn't see how to get the troops distributed evenly over four stands to make them look right.
