Massive database problems today

We had a complete breakdown today for almost a hour, as far as i know, maybe longer. The good news it wasn't the forum, my provider (1&1) had massive problem with a lots of database servers. Sorry for that.

Actually the forum is running very well, we even have managed a new record of 327 simultaneous visitors  :-)

I certainly noticed this. I had to wait a full three minutes before I could idly peruse the latest posts. Scandalous! ;-)

327 users eh? Is that way the query repsons times have become slower lately to?

In a strange way I am very glad to see this. I was getting very frustrated during that hour without my forum fix.

I was getting all kinds of error messages and could not get on at all but its working fine now
