had You not said, only certain typical poses would have brought up the suspicion that these are GW models.
Excellent example of breaking up the GW-cliche

the cultists somehow slipped under my radar, must have been the spacemarines that triggered the "move on, nothing to be seen here" effect that kicks in

Thanks a lot everybody! But I can't claim much credit, as the base minis are really nice. As you have pointed out, they're some of the best things GW has done in some time (It really baffles me seeing minis of such quality and horrors like the new releases -but that's another matter for the appropiate thread ). You can make the most out of them with relatively short effort, and seing all this bunch altogether as a single unit  really makes an impression .
