Online Chinese Architecture Reference?

Is there any good online Oriental Architecture Reference?
My google skills apparently are lacking.
I am looking for pics of farms, small villages, markets, alleys, and the poorer parts of towns for China pre WW2.
There are plenty of great inspiration here on LAF of models made, and Thank you for that, but I would like to look at the real thing if I can before I simplify for models to build for my Pulp games.
