Tsuba Russians for RCW ?
« on: 30 October 2013, 07:58:41 PM »
A complete newbee to Back Of Beyond (and am being strangely drawn to it !) and didnt want to hijack byblos' painted Tsuba Russians thread.
As the title asks - are Tsubsa's Russians from their Russo-Japanese range suitable for use as RCW figures (bearing in mind that conflict was 1904-5), would there have been much difference in uniform/equipment/firearms 15 years later that would make the figures look too early for the RCW period ?

Many thanks

It is perfectly possible to use these figures. If not paint them in some well-known and recognizable military units.
During the Russian Civil War, both sides have experienced significant difficulties with supply, so use whatever they could find at military depots. And it was sometimes very outdated instances of uniforms and weapons.
