Actually neither of those you list there make "this stuff" as you call it. This is isometric 2D scenery, and very nicely done pieces too (in fact so nicely done some people are even mistaking it for 3D!)

I am hoping this KS succeeds as I would love to see them expand into fantasy type spell effect scenics done this way rather than struggling with 3D models of pits and traps etc.

These guys have just added a set of spell effects to the project designed (50mm templates) to fit within the Itar's, DF, Hirst etc type modular dungeon corridors.
Flame, smoke, poison, water effects so far with hopefully more options to come.

Larger templates of the same effects are also available for dungeon rooms or open field games.
