Patterned paper for bricks and cobblestones
« on: 24 September 2013, 02:17:49 PM »

Can anyone direct me to some of that wallpaper-y type stuff that rail enthusiasts use to create the illusion of large areas of brick etc. in this pattern? What is this type of pattern called? I've tried searching, but without a name its hard to make much progress. Can you get this sort of stuff already embossed?
Thanks.

That's a herringbone pattern.

I get my card from the local hobby store, that has a model train section that stocks the Vollmer embossed card.

I've just spent 15 minutes on their website... so many terrain ideas.

Herringbone, that sounds familiar. I could only remember one called houndstooth, and its not that. Thanks for the info.

I know I'm a little late to the party with this one but this is probably the company you are looking for: http://clevermodels.squarespace.com/
