Little question

I've never done WWI armies, but as it's a century ago I've decided to make a little start, but now I've a question:

Would these vehicles be historic correct for WWI? I've honestly no idea...

They are based on the 1970s british 'Saladin' armoured car.

1970! wow, I actually thought they'd be American tanks from WW II..
I'm not good with modernish weaponry...

I wasn't particularly searching for American tanks, I just remembered I had those and thought they might have been of any use. Will keep them for a future project now.

They're old Matchbox series vehicles. I have several of each sitting around the house.
