Can some body please point me to cheap 3"/8 cm cd/DVDs (for bases)

A lot of charity shops have the DVDs that were free in newspapers that they'll let you have for a donation......

You may even find some decent films!

Most of those are the normal size, though, aren't they? At least here in DK I don't think I've seen the 3" ones used for that...

Found some on Amazon, btw. Including postage, £ 0.40 / € 0.40 a piece. When I start my next terrain frenzy, I'll order some.

Get blank cds or dvds in multi-packs. You can pick them up for much cheapness if you shop about.

I would have thought 2mm MDF or ply would cost a lot less and you can get this readily over the net from base suppliers.

Other thought would be to get a laser cutting company to cut either 1mm wood or possibly plastic sheet if thickness is the issue.

I like using CDs/DVDs for basing terrain, because they hardly ever warp (I only ever saw it happen once, when Hammers had appled a ton of paper mache to one in one go).
